Lavenders of London had a lighting problem, their old 6ft fluorescent light fitting are just that, old and decrepit, they did not want the upheaval or cost of changing the fittings for new ones so we sent them a pair of our new linear converters to try.
These are very clever as they re-use the old carcass, but give you brand new high frequency electronics together with a very up to date energy efficient T5 fluorescent tube which uses about half the energy of the old ones.
The best bit is, all you have to do is replace the old tube and throw away the starter, the converter fits exactly where the tube was, no tools, no wiring, it it all over in seconds, you then have a completely rejuvanted fitting which starts up instantly, no flickering, and twice the life of the old tube.
