We aim to deliver next day and use overnight carriers City Link to do this. Sometimes this is not possible because items may be temporarily out of stock or if the order is received late in the day and the warehouse is very busy.

The cost of carriage is £6.00 (plus vat) to any mainland UK address regardless of size or quantity.

Dont let the freebie low energy bulbs put you off

Many power companies are giving away millions of low energy bulbs which seems like a great thing, however as with all these things there is a catch. Obviously the lamps they give away arent always the best ones available or they wouldnt give them away! This means that alot of peoples first experience of low energy bulbs is a bad one - and this can put them off them forever

As with many things you get what you pay for - if you are given a free bulb it is not going to represent the best lamp that you can get

There are many different manufacturers and types of low energy lamps and each bulb is designed to do a particular job

We are always happy to talk to our customers so if you would like advice on what sort of low energy bulb is best for you just get in touch and we will see if we can help

It may be that you dont like the fluorescent kind and if so then we can still offer you many different lamps that will reduce your energy burn but not change the tone or amount of light you are used to

There are literally thousands of different lamps and tubes available so it can be confusing - we can help you to make sense of it!

Weather Update

We’ve had a fair covering of snow here on the edge of Dartmoor and the road up to us isnt gritted so its been an interesting few days!

We are able to get orders sent out now (thanks to a 4×4!) so although we may not be a quick as we usually are we are now moving again. As always, if you have an particularly urgent need for your order please get in touch with us and we will try and help

We are most unlikely to see any deliveries today due to the road conditions in the region, we also doubt we will be getting our collection by UPS so your orders will be stuck here.
We are sorry for the delay but I’m afraid we will just have to be patient and await the thaw there is nothing else we can do nature is just to powerful for us mere mortals.

We are just back from the Christmas Holidays and we have a big backlog of orders which the warehouse has worked tirelssly to pick and pack, however UPS our carrier have just told us they cannot collect from us today as their vehicles cannot get through the snow.
There is nothing we can do but wait until tomorrow and hope the roads are cleared and salted by then.
We apoligise for the delay and will do everything in our power to get your orders to your as soon as the weather gods allow.
