New Product - Fire Hoods for Ceiling Lighting
Posted on May 16, 2006 @ 3:12 pm [Comments (0)]

We try to stick to selling light bulbs but respond to customer requests and this is one of those times! Many customers have asked for them so here they are!
Fire hood are being specified more and more by electricians and designers because new regulations came in force earlier this year.
They are often specified when the regulations do not apply but if your electrician has to sign off his work then I suggest you let him or her do the job the way he or she wants to!
To be honest even though the regulations don’t always insist on fire hoods they are good thing to have!
Their job is to prevent fire coming up through the hole you made in the ceiling to fit the downlighter.

This new projector floodlight has been designed for retail shop lighting, but can be used anywhere where you want lots of light! One customer we have uses them in a tattoo parlour!
It is an energy efficient light fitting. Small and neat this is at the budget end of the market even thouigh it is made in Italy not China!
Metal halide is energy efficient because 70 watts of electricity will give you the equivalent light of a 350 watt tungsten halogen! Like wise the 150 watt version will give 750 watts!
This floodlight is designed for indoor use where you want to really highlight a display.
Available in 3 body colours, 7 different colour outputs and 2 wattages you have plenty of choices!
