Description of LED Tubes

LEDs are finding their way into every aspect of lighting now and these LED tubes from Philips provide yet another option of significantly reducing your lighting energy burn.

They are best used to replace fittings with the older wire wound ballasts as they can offer impressive energy saving and are a simple retrofit option

They have a frosted cover so look like traditional fluorescent tubes

To change over a fitting with old style wire wound control gear all you do is remove the existing tube and starter and replace them with the LED tube and special starter – that’s all there is to it! For fittings with a High Frequency Ballasts please refer to the installation instructions

They have a very long life at 40,000hours

They are cool white in colour (840) although other colours are available if you would like them – please contact us for details
