These tubes are a dramatic improvement over the basic Standard fluo tube ( which is being phased out by the manufacturers anyway)

Both do basically the same job but this one does it much better and for a much longer time

They are one inch in diameter

They can fit in all your existing fittings you don't need new ones, they don't flicker, they give 12% more light output and last twice as long, they don't go "creamy" with age either.

All around a superior product, which in our opinion offers better value than the basic tubes - and they arent being discontinued!
