Description of LE Security Light Fitting

This is a real breakthrough we finally have a genuine low energy security light that will work with PIRs and photocells.

It starts instantly no warm up time just like the old filament lamps, it produced crisp white light which we estimate is the equivalent of between 150 to 200 watts.

You can have the fitting with or without a PIR sensor and photocell (the PIR sensor is the bit that turns the light on when someone walks past it, the photocell means it only comes on when it is dark)

The fitting itself is nothing unusual, what is unusual is that it only burns 24 watts of electricity. This means you can have it running for nearly ten times as long for the same cost as a conventional security light!

The lamp (which comes with the fitting and is the clever bit) has a life of 8000 hours so it will outlast approximately 15 conventional filament lamps.

It is both green and economical. When the bulb does finally go it can be replaced with another 24watt bulb as easily as a 'normal' filament lamp.

We have been waiting for this technology for many years and finally it is here. It will transform security lighting and save huge amounts of energy.
