A great quality low energy lamp from MEGAMAN to replace the popular Par 38.

Par 38s are often used in garden spike lights, outdoor wall lights and shops for display purposes.

They are a good heavy duty general purpose floodlight, they look a bit like a car headlight.

A normal Par 38 has a rated life of 2000 hours, this one is rated at 10,000 hours!
So yes it costs 5 times as much as a normal Par 38 but it lasts 5 times longer!
So thats 4 lamps that won't fail and have to be changed and, if you are using a normal 80 watt lamp already, this one will give you more light and use a quarter of the, now very expensive, electricity.

With all low energy lamps you have to pay upfront to save in the long term, its sometimes hard to swallow but so are huge electricity bills!

Downside: The only downside is the fact it cannot be dimmed.

IP54 RATED, which means they are suitable for outdoor use when used in an IP44 rated light fitting.

They give equialent to 120 watts of WARM WHITE light (2700k) and incorporate the MEGAMAN "WARMSTART" system for quick restarting.
