The 6400k version is an ideal lamp for use over snooker or pool tables.

The 6400k version gives colour output which is unusual for a compact fluorescent as most of them run at 2700k.

This light is very white and excellent for seeing colours as they really are and excellent for inspection areas where details are small and need a clear light.

Colour rendering, as it is called refers to the light spectrum. The lower the number, 2700k for example, the more yellow the light output which is nice and relaxing, the higher the number the more the blue is in the light.

It is a 30 watt Low Energy lamp which means it is equivalent to a 150 watt incandesent (normal) light bulb.

Its average rated life is 8000 hours which is 8 times longer than a 150 watt normal light bulb.
