Slim line metal halide flood light.

Metal halide means white light not orange like a "SON" floodlight.

But if you want Green, Blue or Magenta you can have that too!
See the drop down menu to choose.

In the past metal halide has been too expensive for domestic situations but with this superb very compact floodlight everyone can afford to use them.

Superb compact flood lights, the best we've seen.
Small and unobtrusive but providing a lot of light.

Ideal for security, perfect on a time clock, but not a motion sensor, much more economical to run than a halogen floodlight.

A 70 watt floodlight burning 7 hours per night during the winter for instance will cost less than 5 pence per night.

A halogen floodlight would cost 30 pence per night and you'd have to change the bulbs often.

You can get gels or films stuck on the lens but genuine colour produced by the lamps the effect can be stunning.

This floodlight is very compact measuring just 14 inches in height 9 inches wide and just 4 inches deep.
For those who prefer centimetres. It's 35cm high by 23 wide and 9 cm deep.

It is robustly constructed with a good fixings and decent mounting bracket.

We recommend a bit of grease or Vaseline on the screws so they don't seize up as you won't be changing the lamp very often.

The coloured lamps will last approx 5.000 hours that is approx 900 nights of use or three years. Allowing for reduced use in the summer it is probably 5 years of useful life. The white lamps have an average life of twice that!
All the time it will be saving you loads of money against a tungsten halogen floodlight as well as giving you much greater security.

In garden use you must make sure the supply cable is steel wire armoured, you are dealing with mains voltage and you must take sensible precautions to ensure you do not cut the cable with a garden fork or your strimmer.

You will be amazed by the effect a coloured lamps makes, it can be quite breathtaking and if you have invested the time and effort into your garden it is a great way to enjoy it at night.
And you can change the colours by just changing the lamp.

A friend has just fixed one to the wall of their house shining a green light across the garden, the effect is stunning! Because the light is attached to the house under the eaves the wiring was as easy as fitting a security light.

If you want to have a photocell floodlight it can be customised to include one for an extra £25.
This will mean it will turn on at dusk and off at dawn.
You cannot use this flood with a PIR ( proximity sensor) as the lamp takes a minute to warm up and will not restrike (restart) for around 5 minutes.
