Delivery

We aim to deliver next day and use an overnight carrier Amtrak to do this.

Sometimes this is not possible because items are temporarily out of stock or if the order is received too late in the day and the warehouse is very busy.

We offer three grades of carriage, standard by 5.30pm the next day £6.25. A.M. delivery for £ 10.00 and evening up to 8.30 PM which is also £10.00. All of these services will require a signature.

These lamps are used in water purification units for fresh water supplies and fish ponds, in fact anywhere where germs and algae need to be destroyed.

SAFETY: WHEN OPERATING THESE LAMPS GIVE OUT UVC RADIATION -DO NOT VIEW WITHOUT COMPLETE PROTECTION FOR SKIN AND EYES!

They need to be changed annually because although they still light up the UV output fades away.

We can supply many different sorts of UV lamps; this is just a small selection of the popular ones.

These lamps are all double ended (like the lamps you have in your light fittings at home or in the office) so they have 2 pins at either end.

If you would like single ended lamps (all 4 pins at one end - like the one on the far right in the picture) then please contact us as there are so many different types available it is impossible to list them all here. Please have as much info as possible to help us identify it for you.

Make sure you always replace your lamp with one of the same wattage as this is what your fitting is designed to run - for example a fitting made to run a 3 ft 30watt tube will not always run a 3ft 55watt tube. If you are in doubt please call us.

We can supply replacement lamps for WEDECO, Fisher Porter, Jaybay and many other disinfection systems.

These lamps are Germicidal, that is they have a UVC output which kills germs.

SAFETY: WHEN OPERATING THESE LAMPS GIVE OUT UVC RADIATION -DO NOT VIEW WITHOUT COMPLETE PROTECTION FOR SKIN AND EYES!

They are used in fresh water purifciation units to make bore hole and well water safe to drink often combined with filtration units. They are also used in ponds and aquariums to clean the water and reduce the alge which forms.

Do not confuse these lamps with flykillers which use UV light of a different wavelength to attract insects and them kill them with electric shocks!
