Reflectors are used to spread light evenly and prevent light loss upwards, they direct light towards the working area, but allow heat to escape through small vents.
The reflector fits onto the cover plate of a standard fluorescent batton and is held by the original fixing bolts.

Recessed light fittings are usually used in suspended ceilings. The picture shows it with its louvre it does not come with one as there are 3 options, see below.

These are the metric versions, imperial (if you have an imperial ceiling these are available only by special order)

PRISMATIC PANELS are a simple flat diffusers widely used in offices and shops.

They are much cheaper than "CAT" style louvres but do the job well!

Make sure you fit them with the diamond patterned side upwards!

They do deteriorate with age but are cheap and easy to replace!

These LOUVRES are suitable for recessed lighting fitted on a suspended or solid ceiling in 600 x 600mm or 600 x 1200mm modules.

The CAT 2 version is especially good where computers are being used but is suitable for any office application.
Cat 2 louvres cut off the light at 45 degrees and direct all the light downwards.

There is a CAT 3 version, available by special order only, for continuous VDU (computer screens to you and me!) suitations such as call centres they have straight blades where as the CAT2 have curved blades.

The LOW BRIGHTNESS version is also popular with shops, it gives a more mellow effect.

These are known as PRISMATIC DIFFUSERS they spread light evenly.
Popular applications are domestic kitchens, offices and schools ( they protect pupils from falling glass if the tube is broken!).
They can be retro fitted, that is fitted to exisiting fluorescent fittings by attaching them to the original cover plate screws.
They can only be ordered in pairs.
