These are the latest development in low energy industrial lighting. They are just like the standard Hi Bay fitting you are used to but instead of a Metal Halide or Sodium (Son) lamp they use a compact fluorescent lamp

They offer substantial wattage savings - the 150 watt will replace a 400 watt Metal Halide

They do not require special control gear so eliminate the problem of lost ballasts. It is also very simple to change the wattage if needed by simply changing the lamp (this is not possible with Metal Halide or Son)

They produce a crisp white light which gives excellent colour rendering and have high lumen maintenance

This version of the high bay fitting uses Metal halide lamps and control gear.
You can choose from 250 watts or 400 watts.
These lamps produce a clean, crisp white light of the highest quality.
They can be used anywhere (indoors) and are frequently seen in large shops, car shrowrooms, B&Q and the like.
They show colours correctly with only minmal distortion so are great for displays of any kind.
They have a slightly shorter life then the sodium lamps but offer much greater light output as well as the whiteness.

High bay fittings with acrylic reflectors.
These fittings can be used almost anywhere they present a crisp clean image, and are a very cost effective way of lighting large areas.
Both the fittings and lamps are long lasting and require minimal maintenance, they are also very economical to run.
You can chose sodium (orange light) or metal halide (white light).
For best effect we recommend the metal halide choice.
The reflectors allow some light to pass sideways and upwards making the fitting far more use for general lighting rather than just industrial lighting.

Highbay light fittings are normally mounted quite high, hence their name, normally 5 metres is considered the minimum height for these fittings.
If your mounting height is below this then use Lowbay fittings instead.
This version of the high bay fitting uses Sodium lamps.
You can choose between 250 or 400 watts
There is a 600 watts version but it is not very common these days as the 400 watt version offers very similar performance for much less cost.
These are very powerful and flexible light fittings,
Commonly used in warehouses, factories, stores etc.
The lamps are very economical and last for a several years. Sodium lamps give an orange light, like street lights, so are not ideal for where colours are important as they distort them.
